Wrecked my Evo HiMod
I’m super bummed. I have a 2014 Cannondale Evo HiMod in team colors that I prided myself on keeping in pristine condition. Today I hit a large rock and my bike is no longer so nice. The Duraace shifter is scratched and the hood boot is torn, the Duraace pedals are scratched, the RS81 wheelset is bent in the front and scratched in the back, the Fizik saddle is torn and my tires are cut. Fortunately the frame was unscathed. Trying to decide where to go from here. If I start upgrading the damaged components, what would you choose? In particular the wheelset is what i am most interested in.

So the HiMod is not really “wrecked”, is it? If it was me I would go with Di2 or etap if looking to upgrade, custom built wheels and same type saddle if you liked it. Of course you could just replace the boot and ignore the scratches and save a good chunk of change.

I hit a boulder over the summer and destroyed my stock front wheel, tore the tire, broke a half inch off the left down-shifter, scratched a 105 pedal, not to mention my elbows and knees that took weeks before I could stop wearing gauze wraps lest I ruin my clothes with the oozing mess.
Replaced with a nicer wheel set, replacement shifter from ebay, live with the pedal though I did buff and re-touch it.
Your components are two tiers higher than mine but with your really nice frame I would replace or upgrade what is broken and ride on.

Kit doesn't match
Sorry about that... I'd vote to replace the shifter and see this as an opportunity to upgrade the wheels on that very nice frame.

I used electrical tape to secure my bar tape, and super glue to seal a scuff/tear in the saddle, after I "wrecked". Gives it some character.
