East coast stoke [o]
Some of these have been in the daily ride thread, some not. Deal with it!
Ninham MUA kicks ass. Many trails, of much variety in terrain and difficulty.
It's farkin' humid again. The rocks sweat near as much as you. The logs are not much better.

Lift time is here. A season pass made itself known to me for this summer. Incentive to ensure my going enough to at least break even in comparison to buying day passes.

Blue Mtn. over in Peekskill has some great trail.
Easy to get some good mileage in while there. Which has to suck when you lose this.
A bit of the smoooooove over at Millers Pond.
Trumbull loves dogs.

Took myself a mini-trip up to Saratoga Springs, NY for some riding. Three days of riding turned into two, due to some late night and early morning rain antics. Still, very, very good stuff. Three rides. Awesome trail. Great guiding at SMBA by nycbike1971. Thanks, Luca!

ibmkidIII finally managed to get himself up for a ride, albeit only one short one. Took him to the local spot. Given more time, we'd have gotten him to better stuff, but he didn't seem to mind.
Peanut butter cookie + a nice IPA FTWMFW.
Mix of Wilton and Ninham rocks from the past couple days.
The ubiquitous new england rock wall.
Off the bike a few days now. Work, and a wedding to attend this weekend on the Jersey shore. I may or may not wear only a wife beater under my suit jacket.
Plus, shortly after the last pic was shot, I augered into the dirt pretty good coming off a little drop. My left arm has some pretty good dirt rash (i hate scrubbing that crap out in the shower) and I smacked my left thigh into a small sapling something fierce.
Thanks for looking and reading!

And that was the hoofing up bit. Even on a full on DH bike, it is some chunky and steep stuff. The pic really does no justice to it. Getting a big bike up there to ride it would be so, so painful. I did a big loop, and either direction I went was going to have some hella steep elevation gain in a short distance. Most of the stuff down wasn't near that ugly, but sweet enough that I didn't stop to take pics of those bits.
