A little OT:
How did your tent work out in the cold weather? It looks like a REI Dash 1 or 2. We picked up a Dash 2, but have not had a chance to try it out.

Back on topic:
Nice photos.
It's an REI Dash 2. I like it. Two Doors/vestibules, 3.5 lbs with footprint and extra stacks. I speak more in depth about the tent here https://redandblackhorizons.wordpres.../gear-camping/

Twice so far it has gotten into the high twenties at night and once I had sustained winds near 40 mph. It has preformed very well. For the cold it can be a bit breezy so you need to have the right sleep gear. Not bad for $199

my steering with my LOW TRAIL fork is very light. front load is the way to go, a touring bike with front load behaves nearly like a normal road bike out of the saddle, and climbing, really great. while back load makes your frame wobble like a pudding out of the saddle.... left right left right. you have enormous pressure on the back wheel spokes, what at times make your spokes say "good bye".

Fine looking bike love to ride a TI touring bike but not unless i win the lottery.
i will have to take your word for it regarding better ride with front panniers .my mission in life is to tour as light as possible on a comfy road bike (TI) if i had the dosh and still be very comfortable in whatever comes my way.

I noticed the same thing Hobo. When you click on "insert image" it used to give one the choice between choosing a file from your computer or from a URL (Photobucket, etc). The "choose file from computer" option is suddenly gone. I can still display a pic from Photobucket but no longer can upload a thumbnail from my computer. Don't know if this is a temporary glitch or a BF policy change. Your laptop may be OK.

Yep, It sounds like a temporary site glitch...
