Here are my current fleet. The first file, MX LEADER is too large. I just linked it.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...74479046_n.jpg

Here are my Pinarello sisters. Montello SLX & Prologo

This is the frame I built based on the Pinarello Montello geometry, with a few personal tweaks. This was my "Perfect Bike". Almost, anyway. I couldn't source SLX tubing, so I went with Zero Uno. I sucked the back wheel up pretty tight to the ST, I stretched it a bit to get the TT length I wanted & mixed the components to be exactly the way I liked them. The bike pictured is about 17lbs. I could get it lighter but, these are the parts I wanted on the bike. The only real change I've made was to replace the saddle to a black Storika.

Yes it is. Takes the full motion of the cassette side. It works!

My latest project bike -- AMF Hercules ladies 3 speed from the 1960s. This was sitting in my mother's garage since the 70s. It's a nice classic English 3 speed in decent condition. I replaced the original horribly uncomfortable seat with a wider modern ladies seat (my wife refused to ride with the old seat). The NOS Wald chainguard will do until I can find an original chrome chainguard in decent condition. I rebuilt the Sturmey Archer AW 3 speed hub, overhauled the headset and bottom bracket, and replaced the cables and tires. Perfect for cruising around town!

I posted my 1982 Jack Taylor Tour of Britain in another thread a while ago, but thought it would be appropriate here. Frameset was NOS until around 2000, found boxed up in the Taylors' attic since 1982. It was built up once and ridden very little by the first owner in Seattle, from whom I got it. I built it up with mostly period-appropriate French parts-- full Simplex SLJ group, TA cranks, MAVIC wheelset, MAFAC brakes. The only non-correct parts are a new Phil Ti BB, new Tange alloy headset and new Grand Bois bars, and of course wear items. She rides smooth as glass.

I'll add my 2 cents because I finally got my Della Santa built up.
As it began at the very beginning of the build. I ended up changing out lots of parts:

And as of today with the final build. Might need a setback seatpost, but damn does this bike ride nicely.

Cockpit:

Gotta love the old Masi lugs:

Incredible selection of bicycles on this page.

They all rock.

Congrats everyone.

I will eventually have to scratch that Della Santa itch. That is one gorgeous build to my eyes.

What a haul on this page, that amazing homebuild (I know, not C&V, but great none the less), that Della Santa and the Jack Taylor are all stunners.

I overhauled my old Eddy Merckx with a 10-speed Record kit and new tubulars for the Gipiemme Tecnos 716. The crank is a Croce D'Aune crank, I just like how it looks.

Haha, that's awesome. I wish I had a bike that could rock purple tape like it's no big deal.

This is one of my all time favourite bikes seen here, I have always loved that nifty way of brazing up the fixtures for the centerpull brakes. It is the peak of the old good days of steel bikes for me. The rest of the bike is just gorgeous as well.

Peugeot Reborn

So many outstanding classic bikes here, found this site as I was building up my old Peugeot, finally finished it before summer is over (barely). I bought this bike new in '83, rode it through college, many Ragbrai's, always maintained and kept it clean as I am ocd that way. It's been on the garage wall for the last 15 years patiently waiting for some love. Got some new non-tubular wheels, upgraded to better vintage brakes, rebuilt everything with bearings, new cables, it rides like new...too bad 30 years can't be taken off the rider as well. The last pic is the sweet Torpado I picked up 10 years ago.

My daily rider Takara. Dunno what year or model, and I'm not here to win any beauty contests haha. Has been ridden about 60 miles a week since summer began. It will be getting either white or brown cork bar tape in the near future as well as a leather saddle hopefully soon!

My 1983 Trek 600. Just waiting for my handlebar bag and fenders to arrive, but have been riding it like this. Probably will switch out for a leather saddle, maybe Selle An-atomica to go with the other MUSA stuff, but the Terry Fly is actually pretty comfy for me, just not the right aesthetic. Low-ish trail, handles great; comfortable but still has a bit of pep.
