Is there a good-looking ramped freewheel?
Is there a ramped Hyperglide-style screw-on freewheel available that would look good on a vintage bike? Freewheels are one area where I'm willing to sacrifice authenticity for performance, as long as it looks OK. The Shimano Ultraglides are tempting, but the ones I've seen are just too loud and ugly.

I agree with the IRD. Many other one's available from this source - but do shop around:

Death fork? Naaaah!!
SunRace freewheels are ramped and half the price of IRD, and are nicely plated:
Not the best pictures, but gives you an idea.
I've run these on several bikes over the past 5 years with no problems.

I don't like the big black "SHIMANO" cog on the new Hyperglide freewheels but was able to find a 14-28 7sp version without the anodization - looks similar to this one (and only cost about $20.)
