Year six totals
Today marks the 6th year of tracking my mileage with Endomondo. I started tracking very early into getting back on a bike after over 20 years of not. I never thought I would take to any activity like I have to cycling! I feel cheated when I can't ride, like the last few days as I have not been well. I am looking to getting back on my bike in the next few days.

Those are some really good numbers for just six years. Good job.

I've tried several apps and mostly settled on Strava and Wahoo Fitness. Whatever the app, I've found it motivates and encourages me to keep track of rides and other fitness activities. Helps minimize some subjectivity about how I "feel" and generally shows some progress over time, despite ups and downs.

Those are solid numbers. I've been tracking my miles for about 14 years. I keep a running total, monthly and yearly on bikejournal.com. I use a simple cateye for mileage, average speed and time. I tried a Garmin for a few years but that thing went south on me so I scratched them off my list. Keep on pedaling. It's good for the heart, mind and soul.

Those numbers are impressive for sure. I have not yet figured out how to get decent miles in in the winter. It doesn't get too terribly cold here, but it is uncomfortable to ride (for me) for an hour or more most days.

Nice numbers! Just keep on doing what you're doing and don't stop. That's the advise all of my doctors give me, so I'll pass it on.

Very nice. I've never found an app that can accurately track calories burned. Not sure one exists. If I'm averaging 15 mph or climbing 60 ft per mile I just estimate 10-11 calories per minute. That seems to be in the ballpark with the formulas I've seen on line.
