Yes; when I find the right donor bike or can't-resist deal on 7400 gruppo, I might just take the Croce d'Aune stuff off my Corsa Extra and put it on the shelf for awhile.

Not sure if this qualifies as a classic or vintage but here's my polished and etched titanium Eddy Merckx. As found except for the seat and pedals. Going to build up some H Plus Sons Archetypes in polish and switch out bars with some leather covered ones soon.

That bike wouldn't happen to have a a name "Kristen" etched on it?

I am guessing pre-PO. I bought it from the original owner last summer. If interested in the back story, send me a message. Enjoy the bike - it is a beauty!

new to me 92/93 Corsa Extra

I haven't seen another one with this dark green paint job.

Will be getting built with a 9-speed Daytona group.

Beautiful bike. My MXL is the same color - it's called British Racing Green.

Any thoughts on this model

Hi all,
I have had this MX-leader for quite some time now.
Looks like Vlaanderen 2002 team colors, but differs slightly.
Any thoughts?

All put together and took it for my first ride.

Very smooth, feels light underneath, and the Campy Daytona group worked well.

I know, should have taken drive side pictures, but I took these after the ride, and I was too cold to think straight.

I would love to try one of these. I love my MAX Bianchi's but I wonder if I could really feel the difference in that lugged frame

Here is my 2004 Fuga. First two pics are on my commute yesterday. This bike feels smooth, quiet, fast and strong. Very fun to ride.

Today I first finished detailing the Dura Ace - 1991-2 Corsa Extra MAX.

Then changed tires on the MX Leader GAN. To Vittoria 28: s. There is 1,5mm space to the rear brake...
I also swapped the Brooks Team Pro for a Brooks Swift Ti. Tires feel nice and look good on this wine valley credit card tourer. The saddle not so much. I believe I am going to go back to Team Pro.

Finally got around to taking some more pictures.

I think I overdid it with the color matching cable casing, tires, and bottle holders........
Think of it as the Italian Merckx.

Well after 7 months with no Merckx (my previous Corsa Extra was stolen from my garage) I finally picked up a new one. Here is how I bought her, with a few changes coming soon.
