@ethet awesome bikes ethet ! I can't decide which one I like better. Quite similar though, I guess you have a type
I do have a type, certainly, though it is rather humorous how different those bike are when one is actually riding them...

Thanks guys! Surly is my favorite but Kilo gets the most use. Madison is for fun shorter rides; going to put the drops back on it soon.
*Still thinking about a Wabi special at some
point.

Incidentally, my bike is a wabi special. I posted it recently. Its back a page or two on this thread if you need some inspiration haha
I believe it! When I swapped my frame recently I was kinda shocked at how differently the bike rode given that all the components were exactly the same as my previous build. Hey man, no judgement here I bet you enjoy the crap out of both those bikes

Finally got it built up. The ancient stamped steel and covered in plastic and rust cantilevers we're a PITD to set up. Settled on 42/17 gearing. Not to bad for a $10 bike.

I spotted the chair immediately. It stood right out as something special.

Threw on a more upright Nitto stem that I had laying around (it actually can't go any lower but there are worse problems to have) along with some flat bars I picked up at the co-op for $10. Also some fixation pedals and straps. Loving the ride! My first time going full brakeless and after a couple days of cycling VERY slowly, I feel very on top of it. The biggest struggle was/is getting my second foot into the strap, but that's getting easier over time. So much fun.

A brakeless fixie and a Gorilla Monsoon in the Rapha store? Oh the humanity!
Last time I was in a Rapha store I bought a $125 jersey and they wouldn't throw in a fee cup of coffee. The coffee probably cost them twelve cents but they looked me straight in the face and said, "No. You have to pay."
