Wheels, if cost were no object?

Cheers. It's hardly a red-hot priority; I'm sure I'll be riding them for a while before I can get my hands on a wrecked C50 or whatever...
I used to think the Shimano laminated rims were the duck's guts, but the problem with having aluminium in the mix (aside from all the tyre bed corrosion I've seen on them), is that it can bend when full carbon would just flex. I have a C24 front I had to pull straight after a hit; it's waiting to be disassembled and get the pane of glass check and tweak...
Oh, and the reviews for Caden are pretty incredible, particularly what folks say about braking - apparently as good as Exalith without all the noise. Can't imagine they'll be very unknown for too much longer.

I don't know if I would call braking anything extra amazing but I'm spoiled by HED Jet 6+ Blacks which have the textured aluminum track. Stopping power on those is insane. Comes with almost half a kg extra weight though, LOL.
However in dry weather, I've been VERY happy with Cadens. More than most wheels. JUST came back from my usual VO2Max ride where I climb shorter super steep (12%-14%) where I also descend those hills. I have 22 out of 1671 people there on the descend on Strava with Cadens and I'm a wuss! Should tell you how much confidence I have in them in good conditions.
If I ever wore Caden brake track out I'd buy another pair literally the next day.
Anyway looking forward to hearing what you think about them!
