Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sometimes you can get a great deal on a shop demo bike. 60cm and 62cm demo bikes don't get much use, so they are usually low miles + dirt cheap(a very small market for big bikes)

Those handlebars were way too wide for me(46cm) and once I set the saddle height properly, a -17 degree stem placed the bars too low. This is how she looks today.

This just looks like a properly-sized Man's bike.
It looks great BTW.

Thanks. The way that it’s setup in the second photo is perfect for me. I can’t think of anything I would change.

As a fellow 60cm Trek rider, what sort of discount are you talking about with the floor demo models? At some point in the next year I need to get a new bike, and that's an appealing route...

For the record, she is Willow, is a Black and Tan English Shepherd, and is perfect in every way a dog can be.
