~$500 steel track frameset??
i've read many reviews and comparissons here but still aint sure about my next frame. ive ridden khs flite 100, bridgestone keirin, and conversions. my bridgestone was too small (55) so it's now gone, khs too. i'm looking for something worthy of taking to the velodrome to get into track racing slowly. been thinking about the debernardi thron lately, ive seen they chip like hell but other than that any cons? bareknuckle is a possibility too but i personally like threaded headsets and quill stems... basically, can anyone talk me out of getting a debernardi? or maybe enlighten me with something else? thanks i advance to those who are really trying to help.

forget that, wait a little bit and look on here https://www.fyxomatosis.com/news.php?readmore=523 and for 500 bucks you can get one beautiful frame, one of a kind too!

Mine is Italian. Agreed the paint job is a negative, I am opting for a double clear coat layer. But even if you blast and powdercoat it, its the cheapest lugged italian steel track frame you will find.

The Soren-son is columbus oversize, reynolds bb shell, crazy paint work, and most importantly, the right size for the rider.
