Dairy Roubaix anyone?

Contemplating this one ... not sure what to expect. Sounds like a ride with a race thrown in if you're game.

Not sure I'm up to racing form, but would definitely like to include this on my schedule this year for the experience.

Anyone done this? or doing it this year?

Been thinking about it. Have to figure out where I'd stay though.

I'd like to give it a go, also. There is lodging available at the state park it starts from, indoor group camp. My dilemma is the bike. I have a real old mountain bike, a road bike, and a touring bike. I think a cross bike would be ideal for this ride. N+1 maybe, lol.

I did the full ride last year on my Salsa Fargo. My buddy rode his Cross Check. I think a touring bike would be fine. It really is more of a ride than a race, but there were groups of friends who raced each other. It is a lot of hills and gravel and some paved roads. The views are incredible but they make you work for them! He does have the indoor bunks available right there or Prairie du Chien is a couple miles away if you want a hotel. If you can make it, it's well worth the ride!

Cool thanks guys ... I definitely was thinking I'd bunk at the camp given the uncertainty of the weather that time of year.

I'm set for a bike ... I've got a CX bike, commute in better weather with hit, just swap out the commuter tires maybe.

If any of you guys do it let me know ... we could meet up or something.
