A few more non-Schwinns.

First, a Snel Expedition, from Utrecht. Not my size, but I bought it anyway because the seller's pics showed a nice wheelset with Maxi-car hubs. The rest was a (nice) bonus:

I liked that Snel frame so much, that I kept an eye out for one in my size, which dutifully showed up earlier this year. I'll be rebuilding it this winter:

Another brand that always gets my attention: Springfield, from Haarlem. I bought this one as a bare frame and built it with my best NR bits a few years ago:

Another one in my size that showed up a few years ago. Needs new paint and decals. I found an NOS set of decals recently, so this could make a nice project for next summer:

Probably a Belgian frame, "branded" by a Brabant bike shop with limited ambition, given the name they chose: Sprinter. Surprisingly light (9.6kg) and deserves nicer parts than it currently wears:

The Sprey brand is owned by Daan Spreij, who - until recently - ran a bike shop in Aalsmeer. He sold his bikes locally, but since I live in the area, I have managed to acquire a few. During the eighties Daan built his own racing frames. This is one of them. Very nicely made, but too small for me, alas:

Daan liked building his own frames, but when he discovered that he wasn't really making any money on them, he switched to frames made by third parties. I have one made by Joco in Hilversum, and this one, pictured here with mr Spreij shortly before he retired, is made in Pistoia, Italy, by Viner:

I suppose an SR would fit this thread.

I have a thread about it here. https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...on-please.html
I also have a Schwinn, but it's not together yet.

Superia Apollo Superstar. Not kidding. Ishiwata 022, so nothing to sneeze at:

Another Snel touring bike. This one's made by Kessels:

Sakai Select

Not sure how valuable or rare this bike is, but it's a Sakai Select with Tange 0900 tubing and Cyclone components. I'm thinking mid-80s.

It's not currently with me at the moment, it's in storage in Toronto with my dad. If I end up going back next summer I'll be happy to restore it and use it while I am there.

My precious -- 197X Stella SX-76

The workhorse -- 1982 Specialized Sequoia

The king of irony -- 1987 Serotta Colorado

And, not yet having entered interstellar space, V-ger

That is gorgeous. Do you know what year it is? Looks early given the portacatena holes, fork crown, single bottle mount and lack of FD tab - early 80's I'd guess.

I reckon some gumwalls would look awesome on this, and you'll need some clips and straps, but, oh my, you've made my day. More pictures!
