Intro from NYC

Just saying hi

I live in NYC

Here to learn about biking in the city. I just made a post over in Bike Mechanics about whether I should restore my old beat up Peugeot or buy new.

Welcome to Bike Forums. I was just visiting NYC, and admire those who can battle the traffic there !

Good choice joining up with BikeForums. An incredible amount of information available. Members are willing to help with with questions and issues you may have related to cycling. Once you get to 10 posts, posting pictures with questions helps those that want to help you. I visited NYNY for the first time in August and even rode a bike downtown. YEOW!

Welcome. Haven’t looked yet at your post in Mechanics, but one thought is get a newer used or new bike and keep the Peugeot. Work on it when you get time while taking it easy and doing it right. That way you can find good deal on parts.
