Need a 'Skinny' Rear Brake Recommendations.

My wife has a new to her 2012 Felt B16W. I am trying to fit an Ultegra 10 speed crank to it with a Stages PM on the left arm. But the brake caliper protrudes just enough to get scraped by the Stages module.

The current brake appears to be the stock no-name (prolly a tektro) and no different than a standard road bike rear double pivot. I would like to replace it with something little laterally thinner. Doesn't need to be fancy as I wouldn't be doing this if I had clearance.

As set with the cable, the current brake is shade under 9cm wide. As this is the cable attachment side it is approximately 5cm from the left outside edge to the centerline. I need about 5mm more clearance to make this work.

Thanks for any suggestions.

there were some center pull brakes for TT and Tri Bikes.. some designs they hid under the BB,
to be in an already turbulent air flow, so no loss there.

What I have found with the under bottom bracket rear brakes is that you are kind of stuck with what you've got. It's a pain because my rear brake might as well not be there on my 2014 Orbea Ordu because it barely works. But since I have no other options, I just dont use it.

Also, One thing to check for clearance is to make sure that it works with the brake both engaged and disengaged just to make sure it doesn't get wider in a direction you didn't account for when the lever is pulled/released.
