2.5 hrs. on the phone waiting for someone at Delta to pick up. Its website is not clear about rescheduling and cancelling. It modified my schedule so much (from 2 flights and arriving early afternoon to 4 flights and arriving at 10 p.m., and some of the connections are so close I might not make them.) that I have a right to cancel and supposedly receive a voucher/refund. But it the website also says I am permitted to reschedule on line. When I tried to do the latter (was hoping for next year) it told me I couldn't reschedule at all on line, but it does offer me the ability to cancel. My guess is that it is steering people with cancellation rights in that direction and away from rescheduling right now until things normalize some.

It's hard to get through to a lot of places these days. As of a little while ago, a guy in the office next to me had been waiting nearly 1.5 hrs. to talk to someone about a car lease or something. He said it's one of those issues that you need someone live for.
And I think Delta's customer service is based in India.

Although you hate to admit it, Tennessee *IS* south in the winter. There’s a reason they’re named Canada geese. Even N.Y. is south to them.

I've been liking how my SLT feels fit-wise lately, so I drew a couple of seat tubes in CAD comparing the relative saddle position of my Trek and the SLT.
The SLT has a 74° seat tube angle, and the Trek is 72.5° stock but it's likely sitting around 73° now with a slightly lowered front end. At my saddle height of around 30" (76cm) that means that given the same seat post, saddle, and seat post clamp position on the rails, I would be about .57" (~1.5cm) closer to the BB on the SLT than on the Trek. So I'm going to try and move my saddle forward about that much and see how things feel tonight.

Flour or corn? For corn, we use just a splash of oil, or none at all. I imagine it would be the same for flour. Turning them is good.

One wonders how many more subscriptions they could sell @ $2/month versus $5.

My wife gave me those looks. I converted her. I think that if my machine broke down, she'd go halfsies on a new one.
