Hahaha this statement is so true it is scary.

A few weeks ago the final sprint was neutralized 3 times because the same soccer mom in a minivan would not leave the finishing straight

I marshaled the A race once with some friends and we basically got paid $20 to yell at soccer/math/gymnastics moms.

That was time well spent.

I was gonna say the same thing. Waterpolo players have an orientation advantage, though . I played waterpolo in college and we drew a fair number of lady fans at our games who didn't seem to know a thing about the sport.

No wonder all those stands were filled with middle-aged women at my swim-meets when I was a kid........ very creepy. Oh the things that the innocence of youth shields us from.
