5.9 Domane Dura-Ace experiences
Hello, I'm ordering a 2105 5.9 Domane with Dura-Ace. Was wondering if anyone has some experience with the 5.9 Domane with Dura-Ace they could share.

It is unlikely that you will get accurate feedback on a new bike 90 years early.

Oops. Damn mobile. Obviously 2015 is what I meant. I'm looking for experience with the 5.9 regardless of year

5.9 Domane Dura-Ace experiences
I knew you were playing. I know how the 41 is. LOL but figured I would clarify.
I'm getting the 5.9 at a great deal due to employment situation. Some have said not to get Dura-Ace and stick with Ultegra

I've got the lowly 5.2 Domane with Ultegra. Love it! I think it's the same frame as the 5.9 so with the Dura Ace icing on top it should be yummy good. And the 5.9 gets the Bontrager Race Lite wheels so you'll be even lighter, too.

14 months and about 4300 miles on a 2014 5.2. Not a single mile or minute of regret.

I have been torn between the 5.2 with 11spd Ultegra and the 5.9 Dura-Ace and better wheels.

Ultegra is plenty nice; wheels are probably the bigger factor.

If you're already set on ordering it, what are you asking about? LOL
One of my ridding buddies got a Dura-Ace equipped Domane and loves the bike. He's tall and has one of the larger frames and hasn't had any complaints. In fact the first time I asked him about the new bike, we were riding some pothole and temporary patch-ridden roads, and he was quite happy about the ride. He's tall but lean, so the wheels seem to have held up so far, but depending on your weight and roads you ride, I noticed the wheelset is 18/24 spokes front/rear, not sure how great they will be if you are a clyde or tend to bomb through everything.

Better street cred, higher price, nicer bike I personally would have gone with the Ultegra Di2 at that price point ( and I like red )
