WTB: Bianchi Strada or other lugged Bianchi 53-55 cm.
Hey everyone,
So, long story short, the first bike I ever bought with my own money was a 54 cm, Ferrari red, Bianchi Strada fixie. It was not in particularly good shape nor did it have nice components, but man did I love that thing. One night, someone broke into our garage and stole it. I was heartbroken, and ever since I have been trying to replace it. I spent lots of energy trying to recover the exact same bike, but I never could find it. So, now that I'm a bit older and have a bit more money and experience, if all else fails, I'd like to rebuild it.
Frustratingly enough, I did find a 54 cm, Ferrari red Bianchi Strada on CL yesterday - I emailed the guy like 4 hours after he posted the ad, explained my sentimental value for the bike, but he had told someone else they could look at it first. They bought the bike. That's life I guess.
If anyone has either a Strada in the correct color, or a similar Bianchi frame in that color (or even in a different color but the right size, I might be willing to repaint it myself) - I'd love to buy it. I'm willing to pay for shipping.
