The F.U.B.A.R. tape is surprisingly comfortable. I had the tape for about 5 years before I installed it because I was afraid it would be slippery. Surprisingly, the tape isn’t slippery at all in any condition I’ve used it in...this is my commuter bike and has be used in rain, snow, hail, and biblical rain storms. Never been a problem. I have Adarga leather on one of my bikes (the white Cannondale in the background) and there really isn’t much difference in feel between them.

I like Cinelli cork. Just went from yellow to white. I've had Cinellis on since the 90s. They never wore out.

Interesting, somehow I got the idea that Cinelli cork tape was nice but not too durable. Beauty Gios bike there; at the (ancient) Tour of America I got Roger de Vlaeminck's autograph, he was in a bit of a grumpy mood...I later read that he was essentially retired but Gios wanted him to ride that race for brand publicity, heh.
