Need 31.6m seatpost
I have a 2011 Canondale SuperSix with 31.6mm seatpost I need to replace ASAP since the saddle clamp bolt sheared during this morning's ride and I am not sure if the bolt bit remaining is extractable. This is not my primary bike, more of a rain bike, as I also have SuperSix EVO so I don't need best replacement.
Local shop has Bontrager carbon for $200 I see on Amazon various brands and non brands of Aluminum from $20-$45)
Any guidance? Does it matter much?

I'd look for something with the same amount of horizontal offset to make it easy to put your saddle in the same spot as the old one.
seatposts can play a major role in compliance. a post with some give will take some of the road buzz off your butt.

Yeah it is 0mm offset currently. I may get a cheap Al one for now to hold me over. Except for the Carbon $200 one, nothing in stock locally at the four shops I've called and only the cheap Al ones can be here in less than 8 days.
My other non-rain bike is getting full overhaul and un-ridable right now Otherwise I'd be more patient. (it has a 25.3mm seatpost otherwise I'd use it)

Sizing shim sleeves with a 27.2 ID & a 31.6 OD , are in the QBP catalog ... from your Local bike shop or online retailers.
then the seat post options are abundant

I see shims from 25.x to 27.x and 27.x to 31.x, but not from 25.3 to 31.6
