Given the drive, I am pretty sure he will get somewhere, but most likely not with this product. The problem of solid tires needs to be solved first and this beyond what a small team can do. At present solid tires are fine for short occasional errands but not suitable for more serious riding. This dragging you down erases the benefits of large wheels. Well, we need to see the movie run its course but sometimes it turns out to be a painfully slow process, see Helix. Maybe quick learning experiences are better than protracted

The tire fold seems complex with multiple quick releases. In the first utube vid you can hear a clank as it comes off a curb and hits the pavement...lol. In other vids he covers it with music. The website gif showing the fold is sped up to cover how long it takes to fold the bike. I predict bad sales.

Front piece in David Henshaw's Brompton Book shows the Grout portable penny farthing with a 4 quadrant folding wheel..

The first popular bicycles were the large penny-farthings. The pioneering inventor, W. H. J. Grout of Stoke Newington, invented a portable version in which the large front wheel could be dismantled into four pieces so that they would fit into a carrying bag.[1]
