Un-cuttable locks?
Perhaps there's hope? "Even drill bits from power drills or water jet cutters fail when they meet the tiny spheres inside the material."

I don't get it. It looks like the grinder cut it like it would cut steel. It wore down the cutting wheel quickly but the material was cut in good time. It looks like they cut 2 inches of 1/8 inch uncuttable material in 30 seconds.

The promise here as I understand it would be a very bulky lock, massing similar to a good steel one but providing a shackle thick enough to choke a bolt cutter and the material itself would insure against power tools. That sound about right?

The plunge cut looked like it was cutting through mild steel.
The person only had difficulties when trying to move the saw forward through thin steel (1/8"?).
I'd have to see an example with a U-Lock shackle to judge. Or, perhaps looking at chain links.
Star shape of shackle embedded in rubber?
One would also have to make sure that the material isn't brittle to a hammer attack.

So if you could peel off the outer layer, then the stuff within should have zero residual strength.
Could one silently defeat a U-Lock made with that stuff with a pipe cuter?
