Trouble with a unilink connector
I've installed these with new chains on 3 or 4 other bikes with no problem. I went
to install a new KMC chain on my latest bike with the connectors that cake with it
I sized the chain and broke it to get the right size but the unilink will only go through
the end with the inside link it won't fit through the hole on the other end with the outside link

Those quick links only go through the "inside" links so you have to cut the chain to leave an inside link at both ends. If you've used these links successfully before you had to have cut the chain properly, even if it was unintentionally.
