What Do You do when you pass another biker on the road?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Kill and eat them before the lactic acid makes them sour.

I usually do my best Waylon impression and say "Howdy", and then;
a.) Keep on riding if they couldn't keep up me if they had an engine.
b.) ride next to them and talk, and then take a pull.

Other roadies make the miles go by faster.

::EDIT:: And much like Free Masons', I throw in some Bike Forums lingo to see if they understand. If not, okay. If they do we make fun of RyanF together.

Well obviously you spit at them. If they're close enough to reach with the taser (you have a taser, right?) it's always good to hit them with that... racial/sexist epithets are usually appreciated... just behave the way you would if you were visiting a factory that makes model airplane glue.

Slap them on the A$$ as you pass and fart once you are past.
If they're coming in the other direction the bird usually does the job.
God I love riding.

If you live in rural Texas, it's considered polite to chainsaw them apart and enter a chili made out of them into a local cook-off...

I toss a frame pump into their front wheel. I carry 3 or 4 just in case I pass more than one rider along the way (I usually do). That usually stops 'em from staring at my massive guads when I pass them. If it doesn't, then I try yelling at them -- and I'm not being elitist -just safe.

I usually just adjust my Brikos, smile, and wave.

So how many cyclists are there to wave at in your small town where the only route is 8 miles and you hate it so much that you want to take your bike back?

I never pass other riders

But if I did I would shout "Carbon Fiber mammajamma, deal with it"

Or something like that.

On group rides,
The Cowboy..."YeeHaaa!!!" or
The Concert Howl..."Youuuuuuu!!!"

Solo ridin',
Perhaps I might say,"Whadya' say?" or "Konnichiwa "

i keep my eyes on the road, hands on the bars, and try to stay focused on being safe... if i can wave or nod or otherwise greet another cyclist while doing all that i do so...

I usually say "On Your Left", then as I pass say "Hi" or "Good morning" or something similar. If it's a 50-something on a Colnago going 12mph, then I drope the hamer and dial it to 400w Not really. I usually try and be polite and courteous. If I pass someone and get a flat or something later, it would sure be nice to have them stop or at least not think I was a tool.

Are you kidding me? If I make the effort to wave, then they WILL wave back at me, even if I have to cross the road, kick them into the ditch and beat them with their own bike. Nobody ignores me.
