Nothing really to tell, it can be windy or dead calm. Basically a 70 mile crit. They moved the course to the other side of the freeway from last year. Rolling/flat crappy pavement. My kind of course, I'll be there.

I'll be there - new course for 2013 due to the old course being covered with potholes that could swallow a small car. Allegedly.

The new course isn't great, but the potholes on the old course are serious hazards. I'm talking about potholes (if you want to call them that, more like "craters") several feet wide.

Really enjoyed the race. Thought it was a good course. Managed to get 5th in E4.
Would have preferred we did an extra lap though. We only did 56 miles.
The food vendor at the end with the big (wood?) pizza oven was the f***ing highlight though. That was awesome pizza.

did this happen to anyone? I've sworn off this race after surviving this fiasco.

At the end, I was super bummed to learn it wasn't a velopromo race. Would have rather gotten a t-shirt then $40 cash.
No, totally different finish. Was a long straight and slightly uphill. Not those little rollers.
