Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Got a decent year end bonus. So I made the switch to SPD-SL pedals and shoes. Its was after dark when the pedals arrived so I've only done a rough fit so far. Gotta say clipping out was much easier then expected. biked about 100 yrds or so in dark. going to adj cleats on Friday as its expected to get upto 50f here.
Upgraded the helmet got some bibs and a Jersey as well.

Six degree 120mm Shimano Pro LT stem for my Allez. The switch from the 90mm stem really makes my back feel better, I even went from my stem pointing up to pointing down and I think I could have went with a seven or eight degree stem, but I wanted something quickly.

Very lightly used 2016 Cannondale Supersix Evo Hi-MOD Dura Ace 2 for a screaming deal.

Super excited about it

Now I just need to get some accessories to personalize it a bit (white saddle, white bar tape, skinwall tires, black bottle cages). It's gonna be awesome.

The only thing I would change on this bike is matching valve stems.

Very nice.

Fsa K force compact bars. Haven't taken it for a test ride yet but from sitting on the trainer I think they are going to make a huge difference.

Edit-total game changer. Riding the drops feels so natural now. Really improves my riding position.

Purchased this today. It should arrive at my LBS in 18 days. Then I will have to find time to get a professional fitting and pick it up. So figure 2 months...haha
