Disagree. Just look at the tdf since it's going on right now. The stage to Gap (stage 17) was a realtively flat day, but still had a lot of elevation gain. ~46kph average over 200k. I'm sure the last hour was much faster.
Or if you want even faster. Go to the last hour of a sprint stage. Here is Wout Van Aert's win on stage 10. I zoomed to the last 20 minutes (sine it seems to be the topic at hand). Average speed >50kph. https://www.strava.com/activities/25...is/16893/18060
Paris Roubaix routinely averages over 45kph for five hours. 30mph for an hour wouldn't be anything special for these guys.

When I see the WT pros jump in crits, as I have half a dozen times, they are pack fill.
