Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think the final syllable needs to be just a breath to go full Frenchie. And more like truh instead of ter.

I drank a lot of beer and watched the Bears lose again to the Packers. What a downer and waste of calories.

They pass on forever. I learned a great deal about them and such tactics during a client's case. That client fell during the Great Purge. I've moved to a business philosophy of only representing clients I like.

I had intended to watch the first meaningful football game in 7 months, but I didn't. Doesn't look like I missed out on too much.

If it was decent beer, there are worse ways to waste calories.

No exaggeration, the FedEx truck with my order has been sitting out front for more than 10 minutes. I'm beginning to thing that the driver has something going with one of my neighbors, Desperate Housewives-style.

That would drive me insane... not because I care about what he might be doing with the neighbor, but because my idiot dogs would not stop barking the entire time the truck was out there.

Young people! Slow down, breath, and savor the feeling of the closeness of the jacket. Once it's delivered, that feeling will be lost.

Every network pregame expert except Greg Gumble picked the Bears. I was like, whaaaaaat! Had me thinking Aaron Rodgers was injured or something.

Indy doesn't care what kind of vehicle parks in front of the house until a UPS truck pulls up. I can't answer why she gets so upset, but back in the day, I bought a crap-ton of bike stuff.... I sometimes wonder if Mrs. LAJ had a hand in it.

I also drank beer and watched the Packers win again versus the Bears. Boring game, but enjoyable here in WI, questionable use of calories.
