Cane Creek Velos Wheelset and bag
I have a Cane Creek Velos wheelset (came with a Transit wheelset bag). rear wheel also came with a Shimano CL-6500 9 speed cassette (12-21).
All of my stuff is 5/6 speed and I consider 7 speed to be exotic! I don't want to go down the upgrade route (9 speed compatible Rd and shifters). I look online and see very little on these wheelsets. Cane Creek stopped making wheelsets I think in 2010 and I don't see a lot of these about. Minimal comparables online with 15 entries for used Cane Creek sets and singles on eBay and prices are all over the board.
With the attached cassette and the wheel bag does $200 seem reasonable? Not sure if they would fit on C&V sales site?

Those are great wheels - really liked the pair I had about 8 yeasr ago- but think you're a little high on value.
Nice wheels but long out of production, so unique spokes and bearing covers (the fronts in particular are very brittle) are impossible to find. Prolly more like $140.

There are a lot of good 7 speed wheelsets floating around and these wheels don't look "vintage" which may turn off some buyers.

All good. I guess I'll pull the cassette and offer the set and bag. I don't think I'm wise to ride 28 spokes. I think s few more is always a good ideas!!

Now I am enlightened! So Cane Creek is the rebirth of Dia Compe(USA). Explains why they make better Dia Compe brake lever hoods than Shimano ones. If only someone would restart Suntour....
