Gios touch up paint

Hi,
I know a lot of folks have been looking for a close match to the Gios blue paint and I wanted to share a few paints that I have found which are very close matches for "GIOS Blue"
The closest spray that I have come across is fromHardcore paint, it is a very tough enamel paint that graffiti artists use...Babylon Blue was a great match and went on quite well and is a tough finish that can be very shiny without a clear coat.
I used it on my DS rear stay and near the front DR.
I have also found a nail polish that I have used to cover small chips on my frame....the name is Sinful Colors professional.
I posted some pics and from 3 feet I think the results were very good.

they have a wide range of colors that may be great matches for other applications

speaks for itself

Nice match IMHO
I hope some will find this info useful.
Best, Ben

My beautifully funky colored Rossin required three nail polishes and much experimentation to get to the close-ish color. Bravo for finding something on point.

I know what you mean...when I had to replace the rear stay I was faced with either going to an auto paint supplier and paying a premium for a color match, not taking into account the cost of thinners, or having it put in a spray can etc. etc. or finding something "close"..I stumbled on this at my local art store and was amazed that it was a perfect match for my frame.
I think the range of colors that they offer could be good matches for other makes.
Ben

I'm willing to give it a try, thanks. Touch ups, often mixing nail polishes, can be rather frustrating...

Sorry for not replying...I could not find the name of the polish but luckily my 23year old daughter is home and informed me that the names of nail polishes is always on the bottom of the bottle...
for those that were asking the color is called "Endless Blue" #1053....Sinful Colors is the brand and the spray color is in the first post of the thread.
Blended perfectly on my GIOS TORINO.
I hope this helps....
PS when using the nail position the bike so that the chip is horizontal to the ground so that the paint will flow into the chip and not make a "glob" flowing vertically..I think you know what I mean. and when spraying cut a hole in heavy paper and position over the area to be covered and paint spray though the aperture...makes blending easies with no heavy line left behind.
Good Luck...I think you will like the match, Ben
