Check out these outdoor tomatoes-NOLA

I just took these pictures. There are 12 tomatoes on the biggest plant.I'll be picking some in 10 days. There is something to be said for living in New Orleans-we can ride year round, and grow tomatoes-outside-also.
Thanks,
Charlie

Amen

Change that to the deep south in general and I'll agree - commuting and being able to take a nice lunch time ride in December as well does have it's up sides. Although I at least still have a down season -- I typically quit during July and August to go indoors and hug the A/C ducts.

Drew55, you're right.Pretty much all the Gulf coastal states don't have much winter within 200 miles of the water.Tampa is pretty much NOLA climate wise-hot,humid,hurricanes-but no winter to speak of.
Thanks,
Charlie

I'll be in NOLA for a couple weeks in May and all of June... If you have good ride hints, please drop me a line!
