left-side Ultegra power meter with right-side 105 crank
Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a Ultegra R8000 Single Leg Power Meter Crank Arm from a friend but I have a full 105 setup. Would it cause issues to have crankarms that are different models? Both crankarms are the same length.

All the Shimano crankarms are functionally the same. I put a Stages 105 crankarm on a Dura Ace 7800 crankset and it works perfectly. The only complaint is that the finish isn't as nice.

I ran an old Ultegra 6700 10speed on the drive side and a Stages Ultegra 8000 11speed on the NDS.
The hollowtech II are interchangeable.
Nobody even noticed the color difference.

EDIT: Watch out for the old Octalink cranks. Those are a different fit.
