Back to riding after breaking 2 toes

It's been a few months since I rode, broke two toes, and it hurt way to much to ride. Got back into it yesterday and today, sure felt great to be back riding. What I thought was going to be a boring day turned out quite different. Crossing a bridge I saw about 20 manatees, old and young, heading down river, then saw an eagle perched atop a pole. On my way back found a cell phone, still on and working. When I got home I called a number in the phone, and met the owner to give it to him. He left it on his boat and drove off, good thing it was in the bike lane, as it was in great shape still. Got in 41 miles the last two days, I hurt yesterday, but feel great today.

So how did the toes feel walking to the cafe from the Bike? After a lay-off like that you must have had Pie to celebrate.

Good to see you back riding but Toes will only hurt after a walk so no extra steep long hills on your rides for a few months please. You will have to recover before tackling those.

Good to hear from you again, Okie, been a bit since I saw a post from you. Good that the toes are healed, that ride probably felt all the better as a return ride. Good karma for you on finding and returning the cell so quickly.

As for the cell phone, I'd want mine back so the decision was easy to make. It sure felt good to be back riding again, plus I need to get ready for a 48 mile ride Sat. First day I hurt all over, but not my feet or toes, second day no pain at all. Rain today, but I'll be back out in the morning.
