Simply a perfect morning
Today presented a perfect morning. Air temp slightly cool, sunshine with only a few wisps of clouds overhead. STRONG tailwind, and a 16 mile commute on the road bike. The glory days popped up in my head and averaged 18mph through town. Stop lights slowed me down along with a stretch of really bad road. Could have averaged another 1 or 2 mph if not for that. I had fun!

Pretty nice here too. My commuting bike has some desperately needed maintenance and repair, so I'm taking my backup road bike instead ... something I don't usually do, because riding on the beach chews bikes up pretty good.
So much smoother of a ride and the weather was cool and beachy. Sooo lucky for my commute.
