Garmin Charge Power Pack
Anyone using the Garmin Charge Power Pack add on battery?
It appears to be designed specifically for Garmin's own mount.
Can anyone confirm or deny that it works with other brand mounts?

The mount has to accommodate those pins and the corresponding pins on the battery.
"Any old" mount certainly won't work.
If the mount you intend to purchase doesn't explicitly indicate support for both the 1030 and the battery, it (very likely) won't support it.
