Need to find "idler" that holds chain in middle of trike.
I have a TW-Bents Trident and I broke the "idler" that the chain runs through in middle of the trike. I am having a hard time finding TW Bents exact part.
. 5 weeks off my Trike I sure miss it.

T-cycle doesn't list any TW-bents idler kits but wouldn't hurt to contact them. https://t-cycle.com/

Thanks for your reply. I got this bike used, rode for approx. 1 1/2 yrs. before I broke this part. If I ever get another Trike it wouldn't be this brand. But do love riding it, just not fond of the company.

Absolutely t-cycle has that side by side idler setup for sale. They don't need to sell it as a kit because that part is pretty universal. It must be said, however, that t-cycle parts are exceedingly well designed and made and cost accordingly. There are cheaper alternatives.

Yep, no cheap prices at T-cycle. But very good stuff and service.

I've got a trike-style double idler on my M5, since both sides of the chain need to go under the idler (like a trike.) MUCH better than any stock idlers.

I have a TW bents (elegance, 2 wheeler). I suspect it uses the same type of idler.
I didn't commute today, so I can't go look, but the last time I had it tuned up, Ajo bikes replaced one idler, probably with a T-cycle. I'll see if I can find a part number.
You could probably just measure the width and diameter, and call T-cycle or one of their local vendors, if you have one, too.

Idlers are a general universal part, they sell for just a couple of dollars at most industrial supplies, on eBay etc. They're used for everything from rope pulleys to safety gate carriage guides.
You just need to work out size. If it's an M8 mounting hole in the frame then you'll want that in the bearing, spacers, width of channel in the pulley, etc.
The larger diameter the better, as it takes the lumpiness out as the knobbly chain passes through under tension (you still get this if you use derailleur jockey wheels).
