Luckily that hits the wimmenz more often than us guys, so you have that going for you.

Edit: I thought you said autoimmune disease. The automobile does hit us cyclists more often. Sad.

Apples have a lot of fructose, obviously. But if you make a form of whole wheat pancake, use natural peanut butter, and unsweetened applesauce, it won't leave a sugary taste in you mouth like the real 'Merican pancake breakfast typically does.

We always do Justin's or similar, but the in-laws have Skippy in the house. First time I've had it in decades. Nasty - it's like mildly peanut-flavored vegetable shortening.

Just finished snow-blowing the first 3” off the drive, just in time for another round of 1/4” size flakes to start up.

5.6 and 114. I was up to 121 I believe, but that was many years ago, and 60 pounds more. No Snowballs, and riding the bike likely helped a bit.....

The wheel is laced. But not yet trued. I've always used a spare frame set as a truing stand, but this time I decided to build one like Rube Goldberg would build. I have it in my head; I just need to find the time.

One long spoke snuck in there and will have to be cut out. I do hope there is one of the correct length to replace it.
I will be in the city yet again, this afternoon, and will search out some more spoke repositories.

I looked hard at the 35mm Bon Jovi or whatever the heck it's called. I ended up with the Panaracer slick Gravelking + tires because I know/trust the brand from the miles I've put on 32mm Pasela PT tires. They have essentially the same puncture resistance tech for the tread. I just have lots of nasty chipseal roads full of glass on my route. If I had better bike handling skills, I think I would buy the super supple Rene Herse tires, but for now I will see how the Gravelkings do. They're actually really similar tires, I just assume I'm giving up some weight and suppleness for at least a perceived benefit of durability.

EDIT: Actually, I guess Panaracer makes the tires for Rene Herse? and the Gravelking + is the same weight as the standard casing Bon Jon Pass? And the tread is basically identical? Not even sure what the real difference is at this point.

So I had to leave for a thing last night, but the wife was jealous I made pancakes. So it might be pancakes and eggs for dinner tonight. Definitely not going to the CB at the rate.

So I definitely need booties. By mile 11 my feet were freezing. Mile 25 I thought I could do the 62 miles. By mile 33 my lower back was killing me. I was also really hungry. Made the mistake of not eating before. I was pretty spent at 40. I think it was the combination of no food, and my body was freezing.
It took me a good thirty minutes to get warmed back up, and my big was a weird shade of purple.
Temperature starting was 29 temperature at the end was 38.
