Excellent condition, 100 percent original, with the exception of tires and saddle bags. Have been stored the last 40-plus years in a temperature and humidity-controlled basement. Extremely rare matched pair, men's/women's. Sturmey-Archer 3-speed, made in England. Rear hub numbers are 61-12. First $695 wins this very collectible pair. Will consider selling separately.

For sale by original owner: One made in Japan 1984 3Rensho Road Frameset w/installed Campy CRecord headset for 650.00US dollars. 3Renshos are rare because the're no longer made.Very good condition, no rust or dents. Painted pearl white once in 1988. Two extra sets of water bottle braze ons and top tube frame pump holder also added before paint job. Always kept indoors. Not ridden since 1996. English threading bottom bracket and 27.2mm seat post fit. Frame size is 56cm (22inches) bottom bracket center to top of top tube. Once again, I would be highly tempted by this bicycle if it were here in the Twin Cities.

Looks like very nice frame details, a beautiful color, and right in my wheelhouse for sizing.

Alas, I don't feel like sleeping in the garage or the basement over a bicycle acquisition.

But perhaps someone can clarify, is this a rebadged Olympia sold through their shop or did they produce their own framesets?

So this is a factory bike? I sort of thought it was a rat rod type bike, but I guess Schwinn has tried other weird drivetrains in the past. It looks like you only get one gear ratio, however.

I think someone rat-rodded that - pretty cool, and I'd like to ride it just to see if there's any kind of performance gain off-road. Seems an interesting concept, always assuming chain tension can be kept relatively constant.

On offer is a Tommasini super prestige frame with the logo pantographed Columbus Air fork in a 54 cm c-t seat tube and 54 cm c-c top tube. Due to the size and vintage, this 1980's frame is most likely Columbus SLX. However, the sticker has fallen off over the years. The frame is an awesome rider and super beautiful, but the previous owner rode it hard so there are some areas where the paint has flaked off (see pictures below) one of which was retouched. There is also some pitting on the chrome in the areas depicted. Overall, this frame is renown for its awesome ride and beautiful craftsmanship, which is on full display in this example. It is in great fundamental shape and would make an exceptional rider or (god forbid) fixie conversion that will turn heads wherever you go, or a good candidate for a repaint/restore. Nice 58 cm Gios Super Record with mostly Campagnolo Record components. I am the original owner of this bike, which dates to 1979. Changes from the original include rims, seatpost, and pedals. I still have the Superleggera pedals (black cage) and will include those with the bike. Bike has just a few thousand recreational miles on it and was never crashed. Paint and decals are very good overall, with just a few minor nicks and a new surface scratch (darn!) on a seat stay.
