Headlight Attached to Computer Mount But It's Too Big
Hey guys,
I got one of these computer mount with the headlight attachment for my Victagen headlights. The headlight is too long and is sitting on the computer mount attachment, so I can't angle it low enough to the ground so I don't blind people. Do you guys know if there is a headlight attachment that offers more depth to provide more clearance for my headlight? I've attached two photos below for reference. Thank you!

If you have a Garmin computer get theirs though it takes up handlebar space. There are others made of aluminum that are long enough for Garmin and other computers with room under for light mounts. These are also stiff enough not to vibrate. So the computer stays I focus. That’s my experience. I do like how the stem plate mount look.

Can you flip the mounting tab around. It looks like it will move the light forward.

If you angle that light down any further, you'll be illuminating the area directly in front of your wheel. The only thing that does is allow you a split second to try and identify an object before you hit it.

Have you tried flipping the mount upside down? Not sure if that would set your computer too low?

Ideally, I'm looking for the headlight/gopro attachment that is a bit longer so it provides the clearance. Is there such a thing or are these adapters all the same size?

can't please all the ppl, all the time. meaning there will always be someone who doesn't like your light. you might also consider a DIY beam cutoff hood, to reduce the upward light scatter

Remove the headlight attachment from the base mount. Remove the computer mount from bicycle, turn it upside down & install it on to bicycle. Then remove the base mount from computer mount & install it on the other side of the computer mount. Lastly, install the headlight attachment to the base mount. Adjust the headlight as needed.
