TRP Hylex RS bleeding troubles
Greetings,
I'm having troubles trying to bleed my rear brake. The reason for bleeding them was that the brake lever felt very spongy compared to the front brake which works and feels perfect. First I reset the lever reach to maximum distance and replaced the brake pads with a spacing pad from the bleed kit. I connected a syringe with oil to the calipers and a hose to the lever port leading to a bleed bottle to catch the oil.
However I'm stuck now as I'm unable to push oil into the system and I don't want to risk breaking it by applying too much pressure. It feels like its clogged, but I don't think this is the case, because if I pull the syringe it pulls oil and air bubble from the system, if press the brake levers with the open bleeding port oil will spill out.
I'm an amateur and haven't bled this system before, so I hope the problem is caused by my inexperience. I did maintain my SRAM Rival for some years and never ran into a problem like that. The guides I've followed were the official manual and a rather humble YouTube video where the process is shown.
Hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction as I'm absolutely clueless what to do now.
Thanks in advance.
