Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Even though I just received enough toilet paper tires for the year *knock on wood*, I decided that it might be a good idea to hoard whatever I can get my hands on have more on hand just in case, so I ordered some Pirelli P Zero Race TLRs -

new chainrings, chainring bolts, and RD jockey wheels for my 15-year-old Cannondale Synapse.

(Also installed a new cassette and chain at the same time, but those were "NOS" that had been sitting in my closet for the past year.)

Where did you buy it? Every major site that I came across with Trenta and Rivale helmets wont ship to the US.

I'd like to know too. I have an older MET Rivale, maybe 3-4yrs old and its one of the most comfortable, best fitting helmets I've had.

Ha. I was, of course, mildly tempted to mount them when they arrived this morning, but I just mounted the Power Roads less than a week ago - I'm going to try to hold off until the rear tire is worn or shot, which could mean late summer, depending.

UK site. Had to pay extra for shipping, but it still came out cheaper than msrp, and they were the only ones that had the size/colorway I wanted and ship to the US.

It looks like some models/listings are tripping the shipping restriction while others aren't. None of the Menta seem to be restricted.

Wow- good find.

The Trenta 2021 wont ship, the Rivale old version wont ship, but the Rivale 2021 will ship in both MIPS and non-MIPS. And the Manta will clearly ship.
Odd error on their part.

Right on, saw somewhere that someone said they were UK (did a quick search to make sure they were legit, I had never ordered from them, and you never know these days lol). That's weird that only some of the Met helmets won't ship, but I'm glad the one I wanted will.

Only a guess, but perhaps models not shipping are not CPSC certified?

Bikeinn seems to ship anything though.. if they have it in stock.

I bought a bunch of multi-tools to hand out to my friends who recently re-started cycling or are getting bikes for their kids.

I wonder how many were like this?

hmmm, something odd here, don't know what it is.

My PBK order was taking so long I checked out stock levels. Looked like I was waiting for a couple of tyre levers that were listed as out of stock so I messaged them to ditch the levers and send the rest... they replied explaining that brexit has completely screwed their systems and they are having to update data on every item. No idea how long it will take.

for $22 more than the retail price of the semi-metallic replacement pads, I upgraded to a 4 piston rear caliper(with semi-metallic pads).
