Events Recommendations

Hi there,

I'm very new to this (a few minutes actually) but can someone recommend some Brevet's and Radonnees in the North France, South Coast of UK regions please? I live in Jersey so those are my best options. I've cycled 306 miles in 24 hours over NYE and have a triple Ironman race coming up in July but I'm planning to do a few long rides next year and get my first long organised rides done. Looking forward to pursuing a new sport.

Many thanks in advance and any advice gratefully received.

Steve

Welcome to the forum. We get the occasional French rider in here, but not often. I am not sure how active randonneuring is outside of Paris. Audax UK has a list of rides at this LINK

They also have DIY rides and permanents, which you ride by yourself. They are described elsewhere on the site

Thanks Unterhausen. Shocked by how many there are in the UK. Spoilt for choice.

The YACF audax forum is probably a good place to ask questions about the UK rides. (I don't have an account there but I stumbled upon it looking for some PBP factoid and was impressed at how active it was.)

I'm riding Chase the Sun (UK South) on Saturday. 205ish miles from Minster (Isle of Sheppey, Kent) to Burnham-on-Sea. Starting at sunrise and hopefully finishing by sunset. You can still register for this year.
