New Addition to the Family

Picked up this Trek T1000 a week ago for what I would say, was a 'song.' Yes, I know it's not a T2000, but it appears to have had very little use. I just cleaned and lubes it a little, changed the seat and pumped up the tires. Didn't even need to adjust the gears! Yes, the brakes are a little weak and the chain rings are mostly steel, but not bad as a back-up ride or when friends come to visit - or if I ever start that 'tandem touring' business. The hard part is going to be avoiding the impulse to do 'upgrades'... But wait, isn't hat where all the fun comes in?
