9 days ago I paid for my replacement frame and fork. I figured I would call today since I hadn't heard anything yet. when I talked to the LBS they expected it to be another three weeks - ven though it is shipping from within the United States.
If that is true it will be a 3 month process from the beginning of this late in May.

Also, sometimes the derailleur will have "settled in" to that spot, so a shift down and back up may put the derailleur farther out. If repeated shifting won't move the derailleur farther out, you may need more cable tension.

Seriously. I rode 30 miles this AM and n ow going out to mow the lawn... it's all one contiguous lawn, not two lawns. May ride again with my wife later but only if she begs.

Now that my commute is a stroll down the hallway, there's no segment I ride that frequently. I did break my olde commute into 1/2 mile segments, I suppose I could do some loops repeating one of those half miles

In the big ring the outer part of the derailleur is too close to the chain? If the cable isn't tight enough it won't matter how much you loosen the screw. The screw is to limit the movement of the derailleur, the shifter is supposed to put it in the right place. If the shifter cable is frayed the first thing you usually notice is the cable seems loose.
