Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Decided on the Trek Checkpoint

After much deliberation, I decided on the Trek Checkpoint SL5. A few short rides and very satisfied with the purchase so far. I do like the IsoSpeed and was able to put it to test on road, gravel and a grass/dirt cyclocross track. It came with the 40 Bontrager tires and looks like its has a good amount of clearance (56cm size frame). The Shimano 105 group set functions smoothly and appears very responsive. Not crazy about the saddle so will be looking for a replacement.

yeah you are going to enjoy that steed. I liked the the combination of agile geometry with the stability of a relatively long wheelbase. Its a fun bike.
