So far it's just one camera lens for my wife @ $300. I'd be in for another hundred but the site crashed at Williams Sonoma.

Im not looking to advertise for conspicuous consumption, just take a pulse on the economy of BF members

Zero.
All in all, I have purchased perhaps $200 of stuff since July for 4 family members. I have no intention of going considerably further than that. I have been trying really hard to break my kids of the Christmas "expectation" (they are grown, by the way) and accept that it's really about an opportunity to get together and enjoy each other's company. My daughter is getting it, but she is also broke. My son is allowing his friend's desires to muddy the water and of all of us has probably spent the most. My mother even came out in Sept and told that family that she didn't want any more "trinkets" this year.

We are wanting for nothing, don't really NEED anything and it's pointless to put yourself under than manner of stress at a time when other bills like taxes, etc. are due.

Anyway, obligatory "BAH!"

$200 plus I may have spent $20 at Performance on line on Friday. My order is backordered, so I'm assuming I spent it but time will tell.

Bought: nothing
Sold: a watch, $350

...of course that sale is to finance another watch purchase by end of week, but still...

Yep. I realized over weekend I needed new tires, went to my online sources and a big online retailer who's name starts with the first letter of the alphabet had 700x25 for $29.98, not even advertised as a special price. Usually I get them from PBK.

I don't frequent bars, but my brother was at my place for the weekend and we roamed the old watering holes from 20 years ago.

It was on Black Friday and Happy Hour, so I'll say my bar tab was a Black Friday sale, LOL.

I bought an xBox for my daughter. Advertised as $299 MSRP and $100 off for Black Friday. Problem is, $199 is the regular selling price.

My first ever Cyber Monday purchase, $1.99 for the ebook version of an already-favorite book and movie, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford by Ron Hansen. It should be in top ten of American literature, alongside Moby Dick. In fact, The Assassination of Jesse James echoes Moby Dick in many ways, as a sort of revenge tale, a morality tale, an epic adventure, and example of how mundane reality becomes hyped into myth.

Cyber Monday has become meaningless as it's just a rehash of Black Friday. Same sales, same stuff. For that matter Black Friday has become meaningless online. We'll see similar discounts pushed heavily for the next month. I'd already purchased all the bike stuff I needed on sale before Black Friday and didn't even bother looking at the ads.

I was hoping to see more digital content discounted after being on my wish and watch lists for so long. Sometimes putting items on those lists seems to prompt Amazon discounts, but not always. I keep hoping the movie version of The Assassination... will hit Amazon Prime. Roger Deakins' cinematography is gorgeous.

In my house I believe the total on cyber Monday specifically was $49.99 for a regular $99.99 pair of Lands End duck boots for my son who discovered by moving to college this mystical substance, I think it's called 'rayne'?

In terms of bike stuff, earlier in the black/cyber weekend I bought a pair of 26" removable-core presta tubes for a ghetto-tubeless conversion, and while I was there tossed on a clearance cycling cap for myself (for somebody in the family to 'give' me). Total $14.something
