Will these Cyclones (with the claw) work on a Campy dropout if you remove the claw? I've had some Suntour deraileurs where if you remove the claw and fit them to a Campy style drop out with integral deraileur hanger they dont pivot freely when you tighten the mounting bolt.

Hopefully the same bolt works on both, but I'll let you know.

You must have set them up improperly. The mounting bolt should be long enough to add a thin bolt behind it. The pivot bolt can be backed out enough to allow the derailleur to pivot, but the mounting bolt is secured from rotation by the nut. If the mounting bolt s too short, perhaps some Locktite ( may be even the red version!) can secure the bolt from rotation .
Didn't some versions have an "E" clip to limit overtightening that mounting/pivot bolt?

IDK, this one looks like a thin nut on a thin hanger. You think it's long enough to go through an integral hanger and have room for the locknut?

Yes, it mounted up perfectly. Even had a couple micro-thin washers against the claw to adjust for minimal play and still swing. No locknut required or possible - - bolt doesn't extend out other side of hanger.
