Garmin 520 Plus
My Edge 520 plus speed has begun to jump around. It jumps around 2 to 3 mph and sometimes up to 4 mph. The calculated average speed remains good as compared to my Apple Watch. It’s just very aggravating me watching the speed jump around. Full disclosure - I rode a charity ride last month and it rained for an hour or so. Wondering if that is the culprit and if so - what can I do to fix this?

My suggestion is that you go to the Garmin Forums and check there.
I have a Garmin 520 Plus and have not experienced that issue.
You mentioned rain, maybe your sensors got wet inside. Open the battery cover and dry them (if they are wet) with a few puffs of canned air.
Good luck.

Just a quick question: Do you use it with or without a speed sensor? I had the same issue now and then in heavy wooded areas, the speeds would be correct just jumpy for lack of a better word but I then paired a speed sensor and it solved my problems.
My numbers were always accurate I felt either way.
