Bianchi Internal Cable Routing
Carbon Bianchi Intenso. I bought some tubing to help in threading the gear cable though the downtube and out the orifice below the bottom bracket however the plastic cable stop in the upper downtube does not let the tubing pass through.
I have been unable to remove the black plastic cable stop without damaging the carbon. Removed the hex head screw but the plastic stop will not pop out of the frame rendering the threading through the tubing useless.
So I am back to the fish and guess method trying to get the cable to come out beneath the bottom bracket. Any idea how these black plastic cable stops are supposed to come out or are they just epoxied into the frame?

What about threading a thin stiff wire first, then threading your outer over the thin wire as a guide?

Another source of a liner would be ebay. There are some sellers from China that has many ID/OD sizes. Search for: PTFE tube or similar wording.

IME frames with open ports at the BB are easy to thread without any special hacks.
Feed the wire with the downtube vertical, then use a flashlight and your fingers or a crochet hook to retrieve.

Surprised that given the hex head screw that once removed the port plug does not pop out. Very very tight into the frame as if glued in.
